Noosa Hinterland - Constitutes all areas of Noosa Shire that are not on the coast. The Noosa Hinterland is made up of little villages like Cooroy, Pomona, Yandina, Boreen Point, Doonan and the Noosa Valley. It is renowned for being a tranquil and beautiful area that is in contrast to bustling Noosa Heads. A hinterland holiday is preferred by many tourists looking for a quiet tranquil, quality experience that is only 10 or 15 minutes away from the more vibrant sophistication of Noosa's main tourist areas.
