Noosa beach house rentals

The summer months are such a great time to get away. When the hot weather hits many people decide to go to the beaches and Noosa is a very popular destination. This is the booming time for resort owners and managers. The airlines also fill most of the flights during this time. My husband and I have children in the home so we have to work around school schedules. Because of this we have found that when we use to plan our vacations we would have to plan well in advance to be sure we found accommodation, especially holiday home rentals..

The past 15 years we have come to Noosa for our vacations. Over the years have found that we can stay for longer periods of time and have nicer accommodations just because we booked six months in advance when things are less expensive.

We had looked into beach house rentals for years before we finally booked one. We have always seen these great properties in Noosa, but never thought we could afford to stay at them. We started to not only plan our vacations well in advance but we would sneak our bookings in a week shy of the school holidays.

This meant that when booking six to 12 months out, owners would also see that our bookings were a week shy of the school holidays so a ten day booking would only carry through into 4 days or so into the peek period. This has allowed us to book great beach house rentals within our budget every year. We may spend a bit more than we would for a hotel, but because we have the entire house we can cook our own meals and spend much less money on eating out at restaurants. We both love to cook and often times during our busy schedules at home we do not get a chance to cook and eat as a family.

Last year we looked at a list of beach house rentals in Noosa. Many of the beach house rentals there are huge homes that can sleep eight to ten people. We found a nice two bedroom older home that was for rent. The house overlooks the beach and the owners allowed us to bring our cat with us. We agreed to arrive the morning the owners were leaving so they could show us where everything was and to go through the rules. They showed us where the kitchen items were that we could use as well as the food for the animals. The beds were made and they showed us where the laundry facilities were.

We loved our 10 days looking over Noosa beach on our first Noosa holiday in a beach house rental that we pre booked the same house, every year since until we finally moved to live in Noosa full time.

We walk the beach as a family, read and cooked whilst the kids swim and surf. Our beach holiday rental had a great deal of privacy. It delivered our family the best two weeks of the year, every year for 8 years. In the end our total holiday budget when staying in hotels and resort rooms was not much different to what our own beach house rental cost us. So the kids missed the last few days of school each year? It was worth it.
