Noosa Blue water swim - 20th May

In May every year, ocean swimmers and weekend warriors alike line up to take part in one of the richest ocean swims in Australia, the Noosa Blue Water swim.

The swim is either 2km, 1km or 500m of open ocean swimming in clear water at perfect temperature.

There is something special about this swim, maybe it’s the friendly nature of competitors who come back to Noosa year after year for this event.

It starts with a walk through the National Park to reach the Tea Tree Bay starting point. The walk is amazing allowing competitors a view back along the headland to Noosa heads, The Noosa Blue Water Swim forms part of the Noosa May Fiesta which is a month long festival that includes a global Food Festival at Noosaville and the Eumundi Food Festival.

You wont find a better celebration of Australian food and wine.
